Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Spain Q4 2021

In Q4 2021, the top five navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Spain demonstrated varied performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed significant shifts in weekly downloads, active users, and revenue.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 46K in mid-December. The weekly active users fluctuated, starting from approximately 175K at the beginning of the quarter and closing near 162K by the end of December.

Google Earth experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads from nearly 15K in late September to about 8.6K by mid-December, before rebounding to 10.6K at the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at around 98K in late October and ending the quarter just above 93K.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a high of around 15K in early October and a low of approximately 5.8K in mid-December. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $150 per week, with a slight peak at $185 in the final week of December. Active users also varied, peaking at 44K in mid-October and dropping to around 27K by the end of the quarter.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector showed a significant increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $2.3K by the end of December. Downloads were steady, averaging around 6K per week, with active users maintaining a consistent range, peaking at around 45K in mid-October.

GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic had the lowest weekly downloads among the top five, starting at around 6.4K in late September and dropping to about 2.5K by mid-December. Weekly revenue was modest, peaking at $125 in the final week of December. Active users showed a downward trend, from approximately 9K at the start of the quarter to around 5.3K by the end.
